Ice Cream in a Bag

This is an old favorite and a great activity any season!

you'll need
1 gallon-size Ziploc plastic bag
1 pint-size Ziploc plastic bag
ice cubes
6 tablespoons rock salt
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk or half & half
1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Fill the larger bag about half full of ice, and add the rock salt.
Seal the bag.
Now put sugar, milk and vanilla into the smaller bag and seal it.
Place the small bag inside the large one and reseal it.
Now, shake until mixture is ice cream, about 5 minutes.
